Next June 3rd will see the reopening to the public of the terrace Brisa del Mar, a unique and exclusive space in front of Barcelona’s old harbor. Situated on the top floor of the Hotel Duquesa de Cardona, on the historical Passeig Colom in front of the Moll de la Fusta, it offers spectacular views of Barcelona’ seaside – from the Hotel Arts to the Maremagnum and World Trade Center by way of the Barceloneta.
The space has a relaxed design with teak floors, aromatic plants and comfortable, Italian chairs. The subdued ocean-blue lighting and candles in all corners create a chic and elegant atmosphere, which make the Brisa del Mar a choice meeting point for Barcelona’s bohemian and cultural set as well as clients looking for sophistication. And this elevated oasis also offers a wonderful menu of creative tapas, cocktails and wines.
Music also plays a central part in the Brisa del Mar nights thanks to the exceptional band The Piano Has Been Drinking Trio. They explore the different styles of 20th century Western music creating electro-acoustic atmospheres, which transform known songs to generate a more sophisticated musical background. The moment has almost arrived in which the Duquesa de Cardona will receive us again in its little elevated oasis known as Brisa del Mar, and we’ll be sure to follow this invitation on more than one occasion this summer.
